elliot grayden
barrett hamilton
Elliot has been working in the casework manufacturing industry for the past 15 years with a breadth of experience encompassing design, marketing, sales, engineering, catalog creation, project management, manufacturing, and implementation.
His early career as a GC/builder and developer inform his implementation strategies and streamlining procedures.
He's a passionate chef and most nights you'll find him experimenting in the kitchen with his girlfriend, Kelly, in Denver's Highland Square.
Barrett leads the construction and fabrication of all HJK projects. He has been working in the building industry for over 20 years, beginning as a carpentry apprentice with his father’s contracting company back in Lawrence, Kansas.
He built a successful contracting business in Brooklyn where he focused on high-end brownstone remodels.
Barrett has worked as a builder throughout the United States and as far away as New Zealand. He lives in Edgewater with his wife, Katy, and their ridiculously cute son, Ryland.
emma mooney
Emma is Design Manager. She's been part of the Harlan Jasper team from the very beginning!
She's had a life-long love of design, she is a natural fit.
She has a background in art history and fashion merchandising, with a keen eye for timeless style and a true passion for customer service.
Emma lives in Sunnyside with her boyfriend, Kent, and their adorably feisty pup, Georgie.
ryan hill
Ryan truly is meant for this business. He went to school for carpentry and wood tech at Western Wisconsin Technical College and moved to Colorado in 2002 search of powder.
He is a perfectionist in the shop. If you need to know where something is, how it works, and how to fix it - Ryan's your man. He loves the creative process, working with his hands, and creating functional, innovative projects.
When he's not keeping the shop rolling, he's fishing, snowboarding, and hanging with his kids, Mia and Parker, and girlfriend, Shannon.

Dan Nichols
Dan is a talented engineer who's years of experience in the industry make him a great fit for Harlan Jasper.
His carpentry and shop knowledge help him understand how to practically and creatively engineer our projects.
Dan lives in South Denver with his two precocious daughters who keep him very busy!
david ranck
David is from Strasburg, Pennsylvania and studied at Colorado State and Morehead state. With three national championships for cheerleading, two tours on Broadway, and 3 years as a Denver Nuggets cheerleader under his belt, you’re wondering how he fits at Harlan Jasper, right?
Well, pretty it’s simple, actually. David Is incredibly disciplined, a perfectionist, and customer-service driven.
When he’s not at the shop or on a job site, he’s climbing, staying fit at the gym, traveling as a cheer instructor or hiking with his Girlfriend, Lyndsey, and pup, Tully.
jesse porter
Jesse is our eagle-eyed quality control guru. Nothing leaves Harlan Jasper without Jesse's inspection and sign-off. His eye for detail and organization ensure our product shows up looking perfect.
You'll find him in the shop building or surrounded by photography lights inspecting everything.
When he's not making us look good, he's enjoying the foothills with his photographer wife, Aubri, his son Cedric and their pups Arrow and Scout.
lori platte
Lori’s passion for Kitchen and Bath Design began with the remodel of her first home. And, three homes after that...she was hooked!
Lori has an Interior Design degree from Arapahoe Community College and an AKBD certification. More importantly, she designs beautiful, functional spaces and loves helping clients realize their vision of a truly special, custom kitchen and bath.
Lori has traveled extensively, both domestically and abroad, finding inspiration along the way. She lives in West Highlands and enjoys her garden, cooking, and wine with friends on her chic, mod patio.

larry
general manager
Larry is a 100 lb ball of joy and friendship, aka an English Cream Golden Retriever. When we needed a General Manager, Larry was the obvious choice -- he wants to be best pals with absolutely everyone and isn't afraid of a long day of shop work (even if he spends 97% of it laying under the conveyer belt).
Larry's favorite activities include reppin' Harlan Jasper, eating broccoli, and playing with his squirrel friends. When he's not on the job, Larry can be found sleeping horizontally in bed so no one else can fit.

Darrell is a fancy, young business man. He absolutely adores the office life and doesn't share his brother Larry's enthusiasm for shop 'work'. He likes the quiet refinement of laying under a table and possibly persuading Emma to pet him.
Dar's favorite activities include encouraging Lar to run after squirrels, carrying things around in his mouth to 'tempt' Elliot and finding little old ladies at the dog park to seduce. If you need him, he's likely under a table somewhere trying to avoid exercise.
georgie
head of security
Georgie is a 13lb Chihuahua mix with a zero-tolerance policy for strangers. She pretty much appointed herself Head of Security at Harlan Jasper, and we brokered no arguments -- she's got a stringent vetting process, and even though approval mostly depends on how many treats you're willing to give her, she keeps us all safe.
Her favorite activities include barking, barking, and barking. When she's not on the job, Georige can be found playing with (aka beating up) her best dog friend, Oliver, or aggressively snuggling her mom (Emma) and dad (Kent).

maintenance
Lionel is a very lively Portuguese Water Dog.
He looks a lot like a large mop when he's tired so, he was the perfect choice for Head of Maintenance -- his fur keeps our shop tidy, much to the chagrin of his dad, Barrett. Lionel loves prancing, bounding, snacking, napping, chewing, and hanging with his pals Larry + Darrel - they are thick as thieves at doggy daycare.
When he’s not on the job, Lionel can be found adventuring with his human brother, Ryland.
